DefectOn certain RV trailers, the solar panel may not have been wired correctly. As a result, the wiring could overheat and melt, and cause a short circuit._x000D_ A short circuit can create the risk of a fire.

RemedyTo reduce the safety risk, Forest River advises you to disconnect the solar panel from the battery until the recall repairs are completed. Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, rewire the solar panel.
