DefectOn certain trucks, the stud on the frame that connects the battery and/or auxiliary power distribution to the starter may not have been installed properly. As a result, there could be a short circuit, and the wiring could overheat and melt._x000D_ A short circuit and/or wiring that overheats and melts can create the risk of a fire.

RemedyDaimler Truck North America (DTNA) will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a DTNA authorized service facility to inspect and, if necessary, replace the cables and hardware.
