Defect	On certain vehicles, a software problem in the motor control unit could cause the electronic power steering (EPS) system to enter a failsafe mode. If this happens, there could be a sudden increase in steering effort._x000D_ Note: This problem would cause the EPS warning indicator to turn on._x000D_ A sudden increase in steering effort could increase the risk of a crash.
