BMW 4 Series, positive battery cable connection to power distribution box loose

Defect	On a small number of vehicles, the connection between the positive battery cables and power distribution box could be loose. As a result, there could be a loss of power to the wheels and/or the connection could overheat._x000D_ A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Wiring that overheats could increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy	None of the affected vehicles have been delivered to customers. BMW will instruct dealers to inspect the connection between the positive battery cables and power distribution box. Parts will be replaced as necessary before the vehicles are delivered.
