DefectOn certain vehicles, there could be a problem inside the high-voltage battery. As a result, the battery modules could overheat and short circuit._x000D_ Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2025-041. Vehicles that were repaired under that recall don't require this repair._x000D_ A short circuit in the high-voltage battery can create a fire risk.

RemedyTo reduce the safety risk, Mercedes-Benz recommends that you set the maximum charge setting of your vehicle at 80% until the recall repairs are completed. Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the battery management system software.
