DefectOn certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the pedestrian alert system not to work properly._x000D_ Note: This recall only affects hybrid electric vehicles._x000D_ A pedestrian alert system that doesn't work properly could create confusion and increase the risk of injury for other road users.
