DefectUnder certain conditions, a software problem could cause the passenger-front airbag to deploy with too much force._x000D_ Note: This recall only affects certain vehicles equipped with the AT4X AEV (American Expedition Vehicle) option._x000D_ An airbag that inflates with too much force could create an increased risk of injury in a crash.

RemedyGeneral Motors will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over-the-air software update to eligible vehicles to update the airbag sensing and diagnostic module (SDM) software. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at a GM dealership.
