DefectOn a small number of vehicles, the recall repairs completed by a Ford dealer during recall 24S38 (Transport Canada recall no. 2024-347) may not have been done correctly. As a result, a second repair is required._x000D_ On certain vehicles, a previous over-the-air (OTA) software update could cause the backup lamps not to turn on when the vehicle is reversing._x000D_ Backup lamps that don't work could cause others not to recognize when a vehicle is backing up, and increase the risk of a crash.
