DefectOn certain vehicles, the wiring for the third-row left-hand (driver's side) seat belt buckle could become damaged when the buckle is pulled. As a result, the seat belt status indicator in the instrument panel may incorrectly show that a seat belt is buckled when it's not._x000D_ A seat belt status indicator that doesn't work correctly could create confusion. Not wearing a seat belt increases the risk of injury in a crash.

RemedyHyundai will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to install an extension to the wiring harness. The dealer will replace the seat belt buckle assembly, if necessary.
