DefectOn certain trucks, a software problem could cause the trailer turn signal lights not to work when towing._x000D_ Note: This problem would cause an error message to display on the instrument panel._x000D_ Turn signal lights that don't work may cause a person not to recognize when a driver intends to turn or change lanes and could increase the risk of a crash.

RemedyTo reduce the safety risk, Volvo Trucks advises you to test the trailer turn signals before driving, until the recall repairs are completed. Volvo Trucks will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to update the vehicle software.
