DefectOn certain vehicles, the transmission may not have been reassembled properly after service. As a result, the transmission output shaft splines and/or the transfer case input splines could wear and fail. If this happens, there could be a loss of power to the wheels, or the vehicle could move when it's parked and the parking brake isn't used._x000D_ A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash.
