Defect	On certain trucks, the connector(s) for the rear brake modulator(s) may not have proper wiring protection. As a result, the rear brake modulator(s) could short circuit and cause a loss of antilock braking system (ABS) and electronic stability control (ESC)._x000D_ A loss of ABS and ESC could increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy	Volvo Trucks will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the rear brake modulator(s). The dealer will also install a cover on the connector(s).
