DefectDue to a brake fluid leak, an electrical short circuit can occur during vehicle operation. This can cause an electrical overload in the ABS module, leading the Hydraulic Electronic Control Unit (HECU), to remain live even when the vehicle is switched off. If moisture enters the HECU, an electrical short circuit can occur. This could result in an engine compartment fire.
