DefectDue to the corrosion inhibitor reacting with worn friction plate material, a viscous substance can form with the heat. This can lead the clutch to fail to disengage (even when the lever is pulled) causing it to drag. The vehicle can unexpectedly move off with a gear engaged, even with the clutch pulled in, increasing the risk of injury.
RemedyRecall of the product from end users.
