DefectIn the electrical wiring of medium-duty trucks, due to insufficient design consideration for wiring harness variations, some wiring in the left frame area interferes with surrounding parts such as the engine side cover. Consequently, if use is continued, the insulation of the wiring may be damaged by vibrations during driving, and in the worst case, a short circuit in the wiring could lead to a fire.
ComponentElectrical system (Electrical wiring)
RemedyFor all vehicles, protective material will be added to the affected wiring, and for some vehicles, the engine side cover will be modified. If damage is found in the affected wiring, it will be repaired.
