Hazard descriptionChildren are at risk of choking, severe internal burn injuries or death if they swallow or place button or coin batteries inside their bodies. Serious injury can occur in as little as 2 hours and the results can be fatal. In Australia, children have suffered serious injuries or died from swallowing button/coin batteries. Non-complianceThe plant sensor doesn’t comply with the mandatory information standard for products containing button/coin batteries . The product does not include all the required warning information.
RemedyUsers of the Willow app must review and acknowledge an in-app notification containing the button battery warning information to continue using the Willow app. This information will also be shown with the Low battery warning notification along with instructions on how to replace the button battery. Please read the button battery warning information supplied with the product and refer to it as needed in the Product User Guides section of the app, and the Battery Safety page on the Willow website. If you have any questions about this notice or your Willow sensor, please contact Willow via email.
