| Non-compliance | The LED key doesn’t comply with the mandatory standard for products containing button/coin batteries . The battery isn’t secured, and children could access the button/coin battery. The products are missing warning information about the dangers of button/coin batteries to children what to do when a person suspects someone has swallowed or placed a button/coin battery inside any part of their body. |
| Remedy | Check the serial number on the barrel of the lock. If it is an affected lock, stop using the key immediately and place out of reach of children. Return the key to the Giant dealer that you purchased the lock from to receive a free water bottle cage or a partial refund. The lock remains usable with the non-LED keys included. Alternatively, you can return the lock and all keys for a full refund. |
