DefectIn the rear brake caliper, due to improper tightening of the caliper mounting bolts, some bolts may have insufficient tightening torque. Consequently, if used in this condition, the bolts may loosen, causing abnormal noise during braking or when driving over bumps. In the worst case, the bolts may detach, potentially leading to a reduction in braking force.
ComponentBraking system (rear brake caliper mounting bolts)
RemedyFor all affected vehicles, inspect the bolts. If the tightening torque is insufficient, replace the bolts with new ones and tighten them to the specified torque value.
