DefectDue to improper manufacturing of the front output shaft, some shafts were pressed into the bearing with greater than specified force, resulting in a fitting force higher than specified after assembly. As a result, the bearing may deform, looseness may occur in the spline part, and the retaining clip may break and detach, leading to a loss of driving force. In the worst case, this could render the vehicle inoperable.
