DefectDue to improper tightening of the bolts that secure the rear-mounted spare tire carrier bracket to the vehicle body, some bolts may have insufficient tightening torque. As a result, the bolts may loosen due to vibrations during driving, and if use continues in this state, in the worst case, the bolts may detach, causing the spare tire and bracket to fall off.
RemedyFor all vehicles, tighten the relevant bolts to the specified torque. Additionally, if the bolts are loose, replace the bolts and bracket with new ones and tighten them to the specified torque.
