Defect	Regarding the front windshield wipers, due to improper manufacturing, some wiper motor wire harnesses are incorrectly routed. As a result, during use, the harness may interfere with the wiper linkage, causing damage to the harness, which could lead to a warning light illuminating, smoke, and impaired wiping function. Additionally, in very rare cases, there is a risk that the engine may not start.

Remedy	For all vehicles, inspect the wiper motor wire harness and correct it as necessary. Furthermore, if the harness is damaged, replace the Basic Central Platform (BCP) as well.
