DefectRegarding the power cable of the fuse box, due to improper manufacturing instructions, some vehicles have insufficient clearance between the cable and the front passenger footrest. As a result, during use, the power cable may come into contact with the footrest panel, and in the worst case, the insulation of the power cable may be damaged, causing a short circuit, which could lead to the illumination of the brake warning light and warning messages, and a potential reduction in braking performance.
ComponentElectrical system (fuse box)
RemedyFor all vehicles, a plastic spacer will be installed between the power terminal of the fuse box and the front passenger footrest panel. Additionally, the installation position of the fuse box power cable and the protective tape of the power terminal will be inspected, and corrections will be made as necessary.
