DefectIn the charger, due to an inappropriate charging control program, overcharging may occur. As a result, repeated overcharging accelerates the degradation of the cell-to-cell connections inside the drive lead-acid battery, leading to a break in the battery's internal wiring and loss of power, and in the worst case, there is a risk of the vehicle becoming unable to drive while in motion.
ComponentElectrical system (Charger)
RemedyFor all vehicles, replace the charger with an improved one. Furthermore, if the drive lead-acid battery's internal wiring breaks after the charger replacement, replace the drive lead-acid battery with a new one.
