Defect	In the electric power steering control unit, due to insufficient design review of the control program, when internal components of the electric power steering motor reach a high temperature, the abnormality detection system may detect mechanical vibrations of the motor, etc., as a malfunction. As a result, the warning light may illuminate, the steering assist function may be disabled, and steering effort may increase.

Remedy	For all vehicles, the program of the electric power steering control unit will be rewritten with a countermeasure program.
