DefectDue to an error in the parts production process, the rigidity of the steering shaft double universal joint may have been reduced during assembly. In such cases, it may be damaged during specific steering operations (e.g., steering with strong force beyond the maximum steering angle, or steering when the engine is off). Furthermore, a recall is being initiated due to the confirmed risk of an accident if noise occurs in the steering shaft and the steering shaft shakes.

RemedyReplace with a properly manufactured double universal joint.
