DefectDue to a manufacturing defect, a heat-dissipating component is missing between two silicon chips within the Near Field Sensing Module (NFSM). This can lead to overheating if the vehicle is used for a long time, potentially causing the 3D surround camera (including the rear camera) image not to be displayed. This creates a risk where the driver may not recognize objects or pedestrians behind the vehicle, increasing the possibility of a collision.
ComponentOther visibility system component
RemedyReplacement of the Near Field Sensing Module (NFSM) with a proper one.
