DefectA recall due to the confirmed possibility that excessive current may occur during power supply in some vehicles, potentially damaging the vehicle computer. This could cause the rearview camera display to not operate, restricting the driver's rear view and increasing the risk of collision.

RemedyUpdate to version 2024.44.25.3 or later via OTA (over-the-air) (logic change to prevent excessive current during vehicle power supply). 1. For vehicles where vehicle computer damage has not occurred, no further action is required after installing software version 2024.44.25.3 or later. 2. For vehicles where vehicle computer damage has occurred before installing software version 2024.44.25.3 or later, the computer will be replaced free of charge.
