| Defect | In certain vehicles equipped with EPAS and with software version prior to 2023.38.4, overvoltage may occur, leading to an overload on internal components of the PCB. In such cases, the EPAS function is maintained during driving, and visual and audible (chime) warnings are displayed. However, after the vehicle stops, there is a possibility that the EPAS function may degrade or be lost. (In this case, the driver can still steer manually). |

| Remedy | Update to version 2023.38.4 or later via OTA (over-the-air) to prevent overvoltage and avoid overloading the PCB. A visit to a service center is not required. / For some vehicles, the action (firmware update) may have already been completed, and no further action may be necessary. For more details, please contact the manufacturer's customer service center (080-617-1399). |
