DefectThe engine electronics (ME-SFI) control unit software may not conform to specifications. In such cases, when the engine is started after being stopped for more than 67 hours, a software error may cause the catalytic converter to heat up slower than intended. Consequently, a recall is issued because the possibility of exceeding emission standards cannot be ruled out.
