DefectManufacturing deviations may have occurred in the production process of high-voltage batteries installed in some vehicles produced/imported during a specific period, which could lead to microscopic defects in the cell anode or localized stress in the cell separator layer, and in rare cases, high heat generation during high-voltage battery charging could result in smoke or fire. This recall is initiated as it has been confirmed that this increases the risk of injury to occupants and bystanders.
