DefectRecall due to insufficient durability of the rivet fixing part of the high-voltage battery tray, which may lead to reduced fixing strength or detachment of the fixing part due to vehicle driving vibrations, etc. This could cause internal battery cells to interfere with or contact the tray, potentially resulting in insulation failure and, in extremely rare cases, vehicle fire.

RemedyAt the service center, the condition of the high-voltage battery tray will be inspected for affected vehicles. Depending on the inspection results, reinforcement frame and bolt fixing work will be performed, or the high-voltage battery will be replaced with a new one.
