DefectDue to equipment malfunction during the fuel pump assembly process for some vehicles produced/imported during a specific period, the high-pressure fuel pump may not have been properly secured to the cylinder head. In such cases, the seal between the fuel pump and the fuel hose may be poor, allowing high-pressure fuel to leak externally. This has been identified as a potential risk that could increase the likelihood of a fire, leading to this recall.
