DefectDue to improper assembly by the airbag manufacturer, the airbag is not properly folded, and the front passenger airbag may tear upon deployment. Consequently, in the event of a collision where the airbag is expected to deploy, the torn airbag may reduce the protective function for the front passenger, increasing the risk of injury to the occupant, and there is a possibility of injuries such as burns to occupants due to the release of hot gas. This recall is initiated due to these potential risks.
