DefectDue to a process error by the brake servo component manufacturer, installed in some vehicles produced/imported during a specific period, the brake pedal pressure shaft and the brake booster operating shaft may have been manufactured out of specification. This could lead to the threaded connection between the brake pedal pressure shaft and the brake booster actuator shaft not meeting manufacturing specifications and potentially becoming loose. If the threaded connection becomes loose, noise may occur, and braking distance may increase, raising the risk of an accident. This recall is initiated …
