| Defect | Internal circuit board soldering defects have been identified in the Body Control Module C (BCMC). If this defect occurs, the trailer's taillights may not illuminate properly when towing a trailer. This not only reduces visibility for drivers of following vehicles, increasing the risk of collision, but also may not meet the requirements of U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 108 - Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment. Furthermore, it has been confirmed that there is a possibility of affecting functions such as air conditioning, interior lights, horn, power ou… |

| Remedy | Vehicles with an accumulated mileage of less than 9,000 miles (14,484 km) will have the BCMC replaced universally. For vehicles with 9,000 miles or more, the decision to replace will be made based on the results of a functional inspection. (**The recall phenomenon occurs in only a very small portion of Body Control Module C (BCMC) units, and symptoms appear very early in the vehicle's life cycle. If no problems have appeared by 14,448 km, the BCMC is not defective, and replacement will not improve vehicle performance.) |
