Harley-Davidson Sportster motorcycle upper triple clamp may fracture
| Country | New Zealand |

| Category | Automotive |
| Published | 2026-02-16 |
| Models affected | DAVIDSON SPORTSTER |
| Model year | 2021-2026 |
| Defect | The upper triple clamp (part number 91500125 and 45900365A) on certain 2021-2026 HARLEY-DAVIDSON Sportster S (RH1250S) motorcycles may fracture under extreme loading conditions. Incorrect parts (either an old revision or a new part with a casting anomaly) may have been assembled onto the motorcycles as part of Recall 0190 or on motorcycles built between 8 October 2025 and 9 January 2026. This Recall does not replace Recall 0190. An upper triple clamp that fractures while the motorcycle is being operated could lead to a loss of control, which may increase the risk of a crash. |
| Remedy | Owners of affected motorcycles will be advised to contact their nearest Harley-Davidson Australia dealer to arrange an appointment. The dealer will first inspect the upper triple clamp on the motorcycle to determine if an old revision or a casting anomaly is present. If either of these conditions are noted on the motorcycle, the dealer will replace the upper triple clamp at no charge to the customer._x000D_ To find a local dealership, visit https://www.harley-davidson.com/au/en/tools/find-a-dealer.html |
