DefectAs part of our continuous quality monitoring, we have found that the ACE (Advanced Connected Energy) chip integrated in the starter battery (fleece battery) may undergo a thermal reaction due to corrosion on your vehicle.
RemedyPlease contact your nearest authorized Daimler Truck dealership immediately to schedule this safety repair. An authorised Daimler Truck dealership will disconnect the ACE chip installed in the fleece battery of potentially affected vehicles.
