DefectVermeer Manufacturing Company (Vermeer) is recalling certain 2024 BC1200XL brush chippers. The mounting bolts which secures the axle to the mainframe may not have been properly tightened._x000D_ A loose axle mounting bolt can result in the axle separating from the brush chipper, increasing the risk of a crash.
ComponentSUSPENSION
RemedyDealers will replace the mounting bolts, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters explaining the safety risk were mailed July 11, 2024. A second notice will be sent once remedy parts become available. Owners may contact Vermeer customer service at 1-800-829-0051, ext. 7060. Vermeer's number for this recall is IK4576.
