DefectAltec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2021-2025 AA Series, 2024-2025 AM Series, and 2025 AN Series aerial devices. The outrigger pad holder may have been installed too close to the exhaust outlet._x000D_ The exhaust may overheat the outrigger pad, increasing the risk of a fire.
ComponentENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING
RemedyAltec will instruct owners to inspect the outrigger pad holder placement. A kit to relocate the outrigger pad holder or exhaust outlet will be provided as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 21, 2025. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3252.
