DefectAltec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2024-2025 A Class vehicles. The platform retaining plate bolts might not have been properly tightened during assembly._x000D_ Loose bolts may allow the retaining plate or platform to detach, becoming a road hazard and increasing the risk of a crash. The platform may also detach from the boom tip while elevated with occupants aboard, increasing the risk of injury or death.
ComponentEQUIPMENT
RemedyAltec will instruct owners to inspect and tighten the retaining bolts. Altec will provide replacements for any missing hardware, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 21, 2025. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3253.
