DefectSpartan Fire, LLC (Spartan) is recalling certain 2021-2023, 2025 Spartan Fire Legend, 2007, 2015-2026 Star Series, and 2019-2020 UST Body emergency vehicles. A handle may detach from the ladder lock assembly, allowing the ground ladders to fall off._x000D_ A detached handle or ladder can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.

RemedyDealers will inspect and replace the rod and handle as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed February 2, 2026. Owners may contact Spartan customer service at 1-517-543-6400. Spartan's number for this recall is 26001.
