There is a risk of injury including irritation to skin, eyes from the leaked fuel or it can cause drowsiness or dizziness._x000D_ _x000D_ _x000D_ Risk of death if leaked fuel is swallowed and enters airways._x000D_ _x000D_ _x000D_ Risk of fire if fuel leaks near a source of ignition. |
| Remedy | Whilst handling a leaking tin, ensure you are wearing protective nitrile gloves, full length clothing, boots and glasses/goggles for eye protection. Place the affected tin in a ventilated area away from all sources of ignition. Check whether one of the following dates is printed on the bottom of the tin: a. 1 Litre tin dated: 28/02/25 or 15/05/25 b. 4 Litre tin dated: 30/11/24 or 11/04/25 Check the tin for any signs of unexplained fuel leakage, such as green fluid seeping from the top or bottom seam, streaks of green fluid on the sides or bottom of the tin, or a ring of green fluid around … |
