Hazard descriptionThe appliance’s spin cycle may operate with an incorrect speed acceleration, which may affect the machine’s overall performance. This can cause the machine to move during operation. If the appliance is installed on a platform with a height over 15cm and the appliance is not secured with a mounting bracket in accordance with the Instruction Manual, it can move during operation and tilt off the platform. RemedyOwners of affected appliances will receive a software update and a mounting bracket to ensure that appliances that are used on a platform with a height over 15cm are securely installed in accordance with the Instruction Manual. Owners of affected appliances will be contacted by Miele to schedule a time for technician to visit, to ensure the software update is correctly installed and to ensure any appliances used on a platform with a height over 15cm are correctly installed.
