Defect	The rear brake caliper can be subjected to excessive stress in certain riding situation, and this can lead to the rear brake caliper breaking. Cracks or breaks in the rear brake caliper can result in a reduction or loss in breaking performance which could increase the risk of an accident resulting in injury or death to the rider, passenger and/or others.

Remedy	Currently replacement rear brake calipers are on order to undertake the recall replacement. Once available, owners will be contacted by Husqvarna asking them to schedule an appointment with their authorised dealer to have the rear brake caliper, including the caliper bracket, replaced free of charge.
