DefectIn the brake switch of battery-powered forklifts, due to improper processing of internal components of the switch, the brake switch may stick when the brake pedal is operated, causing the brake lights to remain illuminated. As a result, if use continues, the bracket securing the brake switch may deform, increasing the operating force required for the brake pedal during braking. In the worst case, the brake switch's mounting position may shift, preventing the brake lights from illuminating.

Recall typeVehicle
RemedyFor all affected vehicles, replace the brake switch with an improved part. Additionally, if the mounting bracket is deformed, repair it; if it is damaged, replace the mounting bracket.
