Defect	Regarding the gasoline particulate filter (GPF) pipe, due to improper routing instructions, there are cases where the clearance with the electrode protective cap of the belt-driven starter generator (BSG) is insufficient. As a result, electrical leakage may occur from the protective cap to the GPF pipe, causing the BSG electrode protective cap and the GPF pipe to overheat and be damaged. If use is continued, in the worst case, there is a risk of fire.

Remedy	For all vehicles, inspect the clearance between the BSG electrode protective cap and the GPF pipe. If the clearance is insufficient, correct the routing of the GPF pipe. If the GPF pipe is damaged, replace it with a new one.
