Hazard description	Kinghitter \| A Brand of Farmgear is recalling the 300mm Mastshift Ram Lug because the welded lug where the side-tilt ram connects to the mast shift can develop cracking in the weld over time on machines fitted with a 300mm Mast Shift (Series 2 and Series 2i with a Rockspike Kit, and Expander and Expander 2i). Manufactured between September 2020 and July 2026. A design change addressing this was implemented in July 2026; machines built after this change are not affected. If the weld crack progresses far enough, the lug could pull out, which could cause the machine to tip over, presenting a ris…
Remedy	Owners should check the MS300 ram mount lug for cracking. If cracking is present, stop using the machine immediately and contact Farmgear on 0800 476 868. If no cracking is present, the machine can continue to be used, but a retrofit strengthening kit is still required to be fitted. The retrofit strengthening kit will be welded onto the machine by an approved engineer or dealer, funded by Farmgear, subject to a warranty claim form from Kinghitter being submitted and a Farmgear job order number being issued before work begins.
