Defect	3. In the power transmission system (propeller shaft), due to insufficient strength of the intermediate joint retainer, cracks may form in the joint retainer. If use continues in this condition, the cracks will propagate and fracture, causing the propeller shaft to detach, which could obstruct other traffic.
