| Defect | In rare cases, riding maneuvers with abrupt major rev speed differences between the engine and final drive (for example abrupt deceleration of the rear wheel at high engine revs, such as when landing after a jump) can result in an overload of the transmission input shaft. As a consequence, the shaft can break, which in turn can lead to critical riding situations. |
