DefectThe left-hand turbocharger oil feed pipe and hose assembly may deteriorate due to heat from the exhaust manifold. If this occurs, oil could leak into the engine bay and accumulate in the presence of an ignition source resulting in a vehicle fire. A vehicle fire could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users and/or bystanders.
RemedyOwners of affected vehicles should contact their preferred Genesis Motor Australia dealership to schedule an appointment to have the oil feed pipe replaced, free of charge.
